COVID-19 update

We’re pleased to let you know that all Capital Radiology clinics are now open and we can continue serving our communities.

We focus on high-quality and affordable imaging, and the vast majority of our examinations are bulk billed.

Maintaining patient safety

As an essential healthcare service provider, Capital Radiology remains committed to servicing the needs of our patients and referrers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Across our clinical network, we continue to maintain strict procedures to protect the health of our patients and staff. These include social distancing measures, wearing of masks, infection control and the use of personal protective equipment.

When you visit our clinics, you may notice changes to what you have previously experienced. To ensure everyone’s safety, you will be asked:

  • additional questions about your health

  • to attend your appointment alone (unless you require specific assistance)

You will also be required to wear a mask at all times unless otherwise specified by Capital Radiology staff members.

While many of our normal daily activities have been restricted, we should all be mindful of maintaining our personal health. Illness and injury should not be put on hold and we are here to support you.

Please remember that we support you digitally with online digital referrals and appointments for your patients.

Patients

Please don’t ignore your own health needs. We continue to maintain your safety by following strict COVID-19 practices across all of our clinics.

Do not delay your health care

At Capitol Radiology, we continue to work hard to safeguard your health. The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists states that: Delaying an imaging test or procedure could have serious health consequences and it may not always be the right choice. If you are thinking about delaying or cancelling a medical imaging test or procedure, please talk to your doctor first.
